Circuit Bill Terms of Service

1. The Service

Circuit Bill helps businesses create, manage, send, and track invoices, quotations, customer records, payments, and account statements. Optional modules such as inventory, CRM, or storefront features may be available depending on your plan or deployment.

Circuit Bill is a business operations tool. It is not accounting advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a substitute for professional bookkeeping, audit, or compliance review.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business using Circuit Bill. You are responsible for the accuracy of registration information and for keeping your username, password, and account access secure.

You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Entering accurate company, customer, pricing, tax, and banking information
• Reviewing invoices, quotations, and statements before sending them to customers or third parties
• Ensuring you have lawful permission to store and process customer personal information
• Complying with applicable tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and data-protection laws
• Maintaining your own backups or exports where required for your business or regulatory obligations
• Using Circuit Bill only for lawful business purposes

4. Customer and Third-Party Data

When you add customer details or send documents through Circuit Bill, you act as the responsible party for that information. You must provide any notices or obtain any consents required by law before collecting, storing, or emailing customer data.

We process such data on your instructions to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Email and Document Delivery

Circuit Bill can generate PDFs and send them by email when you choose to do so. You are responsible for verifying recipient addresses, document content, and attachments before sending. We are not responsible for misdirected emails caused by incorrect addresses entered by you or your users.

6. Fees and Plans

Fees, plan limits, support scope, and billing terms — if applicable — are confirmed in the proposal, order form, invoice, app-store listing, or written agreement relevant to your account.

We may change pricing or plan features for future billing periods with reasonable notice where required by law or your agreement.

7. Support

Standard support covers reasonable help with Circuit Bill functionality, account access, and service issues through the in-app support channel or email. Unless separately agreed, support does not include unlimited data entry, custom development, third-party platform outages, or unrelated IT services.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not use Circuit Bill to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Upload or transmit unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or infringing content
• Attempt to bypass authentication, tenant isolation, or security controls
• Interfere with the service, other users, or underlying infrastructure
• Reverse engineer or misuse the service except where permitted by law

9. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Circuit Bill available and reliable, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, security work, hosting issues, or events outside our reasonable control. We may modify features, APIs, or supported platforms from time to time.

10. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Circuit Bill at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if there is non-payment, security risk, suspected abuse, unlawful use, or a material breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to access the service ends. Data deletion and export are handled as described in our Data Deletion Instructions and Privacy Policy, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.

11. Intellectual Property

Ethercircuit Solutions owns Circuit Bill, including the software, design, workflows, documentation, and related materials. You retain ownership of your business data, customer records, logos, and content you upload or enter into the service.

You grant us a limited license to host, process, back up, and transmit your content solely to provide and support Circuit Bill.

12. Disclaimers

Circuit Bill is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that calculations, tax displays, PDF layouts, email delivery, or third-party integrations will be error-free or uninterrupted.

You remain solely responsible for the commercial, tax, and legal correctness of documents you issue using Circuit Bill.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Ethercircuit Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of Circuit Bill.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, unless mandatory local consumer protections in your jurisdiction require otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Circuit Bill after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
